Thinking of getting a new puppy, but not ready for the:
-
waking every few hours to a crying puppy
-
chewing
-
barking
-
accidents
-
jumping
-
pulling on a leash
-
destroying the house
-
boundless energy, knocking down small kids in the house
Families Nowadays are BUSY.
You may not have time for:
-
Potty training (small puppies need to be let out every 1.5-2 hours)
-
Waking up during the night for potty breaks
-
Socialization
-
Exercising a ball of fur that NEVER stops moving
-
Attending Puppy Socialization Classes frequently
-
Training sessions 3-5 times a day
You may not be able to Physically handle:
-
Deal with a young dog pulling you everywhere on a leash
-
Deal with a rambunctious puppy jumping all over you, biting with sharp puppy teeth, knocking down little ones, etc.
-
Restle a dog to perform routine grooming/nail trimming/ear cleaning/ brushing, pick up a 75 lb wiggling pup to put in the bathtub, etc.
-
Load a resisting, reluctant large dog into your car
We can help!!!
Skip all the hard parts, and get to the fun part- having a well behaved, loving bestfriend!! We provide already trained dogs that are ready to start enjoying a life with you! We have dogs to fit everyone's needs- working families, traveling families, families with small kids, people in apartments, first-time dog owners...you name it!
About Us
We are a small town family in rural Oklahoma.
Dogs aren't just our passion...they're our obsession.
We devoted years into every area of the dog world. From working as a vet tech, to working as a groomer, to training for Obedience, Nosework, Search and Rescue, Narcotic/Contraband Detection, Agility, Flyball, and more.
From our years of working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, we have learned one thing- Training is IMPORTANT, and doing it correctly the first time is crucial.
Everyone loves a cute little furball, but not everyone is up for the challenge- ESPECIALLY in our busy lives. Some people work long hours, have big families, and it is very hard to be available so frequently during the puppy's first year. Puppies can be very needy.
What's even worse than trying to juggle a busy life and a small puppy? Dealing with a teenage pup who hasn't received the training and time to make him a well-behaved best friend.
It is concerning to us how many good dogs never make it to a year with their families. So often, they are turned over to animal shelters, or bounced around from family to family, because they don't know how to fit into family life. They were never given the tools early on to be your bestfriend...instead, their behavioral problems cause frustration, lots of money, and make it hard to bond with them.
And if you're new to pet ownership, there is so much to learn. Many people do not understand what to look for when screening for temperament, and may find it very overwhelming learning about grooming, picking good foods, medical care needs, safe toys, safe socialization....the list goes on. Sometimes, this learning curve stops people from ever making that leap of picking their new bestfriend.
We want to fix that.
We want to do the hard work for you and provide you with a pet you can get along with from day one.
We carefully select dogs with good temperaments, friendly demeanors and an eagerness-to-learn to join our program. The dogs are trained in our home, in a family atmosphere, just like they'll live in with you.
Our Program
All of our dogs go through a series of temperament tests before we accept them into our program.
We look for:
-
Health as a top priority
-
Non-aggressive, friendly temperament
-
Eagerness to learn
-
Adaptability and calm mannerisms
-
Social, welcoming personalities
-
Accepting of children and other pets
Once training begins, your future new buddy will be training in every environment possible- in our home, with our kids, in parks, in stores, in busy malls, at ballgames, you name it. He or she will be practicing their skills around a variety of sights, sounds and scenarios everyday.
The dogs live in our home, beside us every day. They learn to be calm and have great manners while we carry on every day life...cooking breakfast, dropping the kids off at school, running errands, going to doctors appts, going to ballgames, going shopping, etc. We truly believe that EVERY minute you are with your dog, you are training them. You are showing them what is acceptable and what isn't, and how to react to every situation in the future.
Besides the dogs learning how to act in every-day situations, we set aside several training sessions throughout the day, covering many things from basic commands, to forming good habits, to how to walk properly beside a wheelchair.
All of this exposure to different situations for 16+ hours a day leads to a very balanced, easy to get-along with pet that can fit into any family well.
We don't just train the dogs.
We work to set both owner and dog up for success.
Before your dog comes home, we will create a program for you to make the most of your relationship with your new pal. Our program will help you keep your dog enriched, exercised, and always using his brain for the better.
We will teach you everything you need to know- from nutrition, to medical needs, to grooming and more.
We want to make pet ownership easy for you. Companionship should not be a chore.

Sheba
Level One Trained
Sheba is a 1.5 yr old German Shepherd female.
She is 56 lbs, fixed, and up to date on all vetting.
She is wonderful in the house, and a really easy dog to get along with. She has energy and loves to play, but is also easy to handle and listens well. She is wonderful with kids, and also with other dogs.
She would be a wonderful fit for a family dog, or an individual who would love an active bestfriend. She enjoys hiking, trips to the lake, and camping.
She is working on her Level One training, and is set to graduate our program Feb 1st. She will then progress to Level Two training if she is still available.
Guinness
Level One Trained
Guinness is a 1 yr old Saint Bernard/Standard Poodle mix, AKA St. Berdoodle.
He is 98 lbs, male, fixed, and up to date on all vetting.
Guinness is my Gentle Giant. He is a very big boy, and very relaxed. You would think that a dog this large would require a lot of room and exercise, but he is actually quite lazy...a walk a day is sufficiant for him. He prefers to be relaxed right by your side in the house, as you can see above. His favorite spot is right beside my desk while I'm working on the computer.
He truly does not know his size...he is not a great guard dog, and frequently lets a Chihuahua tell him what to do. His sheer size can make him seem intimidating, but there is not a mean bone in this boy's body.
He is currently in Level One training, and is set to graduate on Feb 1st, where he will then continue onto Level Two training if he is still available.
Graduated Dogs
These are some of our past dogs who have held a very special place in our hearts.
We spent many hours working alongside them, and it was an honor to see each one move onto a new chapter in their life to make another family complete.
We enjoy getting updates on how they're doing, and look forward to each time we get to see pictures and videos of them. We miss them when they leave, but it is heartwarming to see them making another family happy!
